Theft in SL??

Well i hope this is a technical issue. I am an oldbie but still dont understand what s happening.
You know how bug reports work..so...
The facts: I used to have 2 prims allowed in my 512 sq.m. parcel. 115 prims.
Suddenly I find 18 of MY prims are owned by a perfect stranger - so i ve got 97 prims...
I check my objects finding they are all mine. So i send the remaining 18 prims back to the stranger (btw I have no groups). I look around and....most of my items are still there but some are missing. The "Objects" tab says now i have 97 used prims and 20 allowed. Missing items are surely not 18 prims.
Besides, my scripted objects seem to be very often used by someone else (i.e. when i open the bed menu i find several menus behind it). This is impossible: no avatars allowed in my parcel.
Well in the end i find myself with some items lost, a "ghost" using my furniture and - of course - no answer from the perfect stranger.
Anyone helping?

Not sure about the other issues, but by using the camera it would be very easy to get to play with a bed from outside the parcel, especially on such a small lot. You'd only be able to use the menus I think, not actually sit on the bed, because the actual AV would be banned.

I have a radar and no one was around. And my house is 700 meters above my garden.
I must add also my new neighbour is using a "Land Protector" constantly whispering i am not allowed in MY land ...but this is a new feature and things have been going wrong since a week or so. And still no answer from the "owner" of my objects...

Well this is the end of the story.

I had 115 prims in my parcel.
I sent back to the stranger 18 prims the tab said he/she owned.
So now i have 97 prims but...my items are still here except a red rose (1 prim).
This means there should be 114 prims in my parcel.
I check my objects and I find I have 97 prims……..
So the same items that were 115 (114) are now 97……..

What are the 18 prims I sent back to Trinity Habana (this is his/her name)?
How did he/she suddenly become the owner of 18 prims of mine?
Why he/she doesn’t answer?

It may very well be the counting being screwy, I've seen many reports on the forums of that happening where it's giving incorrect prim counts especially incorrect prim counts in each of the categories (ex. sat on/selected).

If I were to receive a message from an unknown avatar asking about how my prims got on their land (when I never put any there), I'd likely ignore the messages too, so that's probably why. Also, you say there's no group involvement going on here, but the only time I've ever seen this issue is when the land has been set to a group, but not deeded to the group. This happened to me once, and ownership of a few of my items were transfered to a friend of mine, and a bunch of prims moved on their own. Luckily, they were now 'owned' by a friend who simply took them into their inventory and returned them to me.

We have No Objects, No Scripts and No Drop Objects set on all our land, yet continously find objects from other people laying about. Bullets is a constant one, and vehicles. Apparently they use different physics and somehow do not count. They are effected by gravity (in the case of the vehicles) and quite often drift into our land from adjacent areas as we are the lowest elevation. I overcame these vehicles sliding into our buildings by putting a shallow 'moat' around 3 sides, which seems to collect them, making them easier to find.

The bullets however are a different thing, being small and quite often high up, they are difficult to spot. Again my understanding is, they use different physics and are supposed to have a life span. I return anything that does not belong to our group.

One thing that irratates the hell out of me, is how someone who doesn't appear in search, can drop a transparent prim onto our TP pads, which redirects us to some void sim, when we try and use it, when they are set to group, defies logic. With scripts etc all turnned off except for group and he certainly isn't in our group. Eachtime we delete that prim (which is scripted), it reappears some 2 months later.

I don't own land, but I work with a sandbox.

I don't know if it's similar for regular land, but on the land menu for the sandbox, you can set foreign owned objects to be returned automatically. If it's set to 0, it's never returned.

It is possible that this is related to thing I saw few days ago. We were in Eros Designs shop when one 3 days old came in and first moved, then deleted 2 walls from shop. Person in question was not the owner of the place and as far as I know should not have had any permissions to do that. I was told that owner of the place was sure that permissions in walls were correct, but still they got deleted by stranger.

It is either a bad bug or some new hack imho.

BTW. Person who deleted walls was not Trinity Habana.

At least griefer group Patriotic Nigras uses items which bounce off other items and can cross sim borders (seen some of those griefing cubes to bounce over 2 sims before they stop finally). It is possible that those items were bounced from other sim and if you do not have auto return set, they stay there forever.

Agreed, but we don't have auto return on, as we have mailboxes which would return the NC's left by clients?

I think once a note card is put in your object you are the owner of the note card. I've never heard of note cards being returned. But I could be wrong.

Speaking of walls Kitti...
I was about to post when i saw your comment. Well right now, logging, i find one of my walls is missing! Puff. "About land" says i still have it. I build another wall, place it, and "about land" counts one more prim.
Ok. I simply notice things do not work since the first voice client. Its a fact. I can not stay in-world without lots of bugs and problems. I am sure this is voice related.

As we generate 25% of our sales from those mailboxes, it's worth not being wrong lol..
