My main PC crapped out so I've been running SL on my laptop. I have a really wierd av rendering issue that I'm not sure how to fix:
Whenever I try to change clothing from whatever I was wearing when I first logged in on my laptop a few days ago, I get strange black lines on my arms, and for some reason my pants won't go all the way to the bottom of my legs. The black lines show up when I go into appearance mode too. I've uninstalled and reinstalled SL, but not sure where to go from here.
I'm on an Asus laptop, WinXP SP2, 1.76GHz, 512mb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 card on a wired network. I've tried finding updates for the graphics card before, but had major problems after installing the new drivers (the laptop wouldn't recognize them) and had to system restore to get the old drivers back.
Any ideas? thanks in advance for your suggestions.
