I logged in today, lasted about 5 minutes, then crashed. Logged in again and the same happened, then it wouldn't let me log in again. It hangs on the "Veryfying protocol version..." part of the loading screen then goes back to the log in screen with the message:
"Unable to connect to Second Life. The system may be down. Please try again in a few minute, or click help for advice and a link to the system status web page."
It was doing this for a while so I've checked my firewall, that's fine, did a reinstall and that's made no difference. I was crashing before the lock out and have been since too and I'm at a loss of what the problem could be.
Any ideas?

Any ideas? Check the grid page - been down for the past couple hours On the Main Forum, top thread "Announcments", they will update there.

From: Dartavia Vesperia Check the grid page - been down for the past couple hours On the Main Forum, top thread "Announcments", they will update there. It was giving me an error message earlier saying that the grid was down, I assumed that since the error message had gone back to what it was before (while my friends were still logged in) that the grid was back up. My bad. Thanks
