Did I Miss the Announcement?

What happened earlier today to cause everyone to get booted?

I was at the forums when the grid went down and I just now went back in and Penrith (my home) is gone. I noticed some other random sims missing too. Penrith was ultra laggy and not all my prims were rezzing early this morning, now the whole sim is just gone. What happened? When can I expect to get back home? Is my stuff going to be there?

Our network provider momentarily dropped a router connection to one of our sub-networks, long enough to cause everyone to lose their connections. The grid kept running and everyone was able to get in again almost immediately, although the log-in queue backed up for a bit.

If you are having content problems, we need to look for a different cause, so please contact support for some help.

I dont know if there is a problem or not. Penrith is just gone. My neighbor said its been gone for over an hour.

There a few other sims up here in and around the Hidden Lakes region that are missing too. Furness, the one East of Mcfee, the one East of Bowness. Im not hugely concerned, things happen. Just a heads up if you didnt know they were down.
