help i'm invisible

I have no body and NO LINDEN...i have logged on all day and all i can see is my hair and ppl that see me say my av looks fracked up and my linden account is 0...is anyone else getting this ...Man sl get ur chit together.

Ever since the update Wednesday my AV appearance won't load. I just tried the first look client having read on another thread that that might fix it, but now instead of invisible AV i have default skin/shape and no clothes.

I think my problem is data-base related, because my "base Icon folders" that cannot be modified (body parts, clothes, lost and found, and trash) have multiplied beyond reason, and I now have 9, 13, 19 and 19 of them respectively. Insane.

I tried in-world help and got nowhere, submitted bug report and got a default reply with a code that will not take me to my bug report, and the others it shows are not like mine at all really. Quite frustrating.

Yes, I have tried rebaking textures; no change. I have tried to drag a new outfit onto myself complete with clothes, skin, hair, eyes and shape but get the message that I cannot change appearance until clothes and shape have loaded. I have tried waiting it out but 30 minutes should be enough to load clothes.... ... ... ... zzzzzzzzzzzz!

I have checked all my graphics settings in edit preferences, and they are fine; and of note also an Alt AV i have has no problems with appearance or loading or inventory. But I have no desire to develop the repository of my Inventory back-ups... so here I sit looking at the forums rather then being in SL supporting the economy .

Sure would be nice to think that LL was actually looking at this bug rather than lumping it in with a bunch of others that seem unrelated at best.

After logging back in again to see if the situation had changed, I tried live help again - and found someone with a suggestion that worked!

Instead of dragging a folder of clothes and skin/hair/eyes/shape onto my self, i right clicked it and used "replace outfit" option... and it worked I now have my own face/shape/eyes and clothes back. This was done in the first look viewer in case you try it on the regular viewer and it does not work then try the first look.

Still have a plethera of folders I cannot delete... hopefully they will be removed soon.

Character Test either male or female and you will go back ot the newbie look but you will see your AV again. Just grab your shape you used before and the clothes and hair and you will be back to normal i had the same problem .
