Recently whenever I try and start SL I get the "detecting hardware" popup, then the "Loading Second Life" popup, then it instantly crashes and brings up the Second Life Crash Logger which gives me no useful information. I'm not exactly sure why this is happening, but it's very frustrating.
I'm running on an AMD core duo, and have been for the past year or so I've been using SL. The only issue I've had with that in the past is I've had to disable the second core once the application gets going for maximum performance, but aside from that, no other issues. I'm running with 2GB of RAM, and a GeForce 7800 GTX card, so as far as I can tell it's not a hardware requirement issue.
Any thoughts?
