Hello everyone! Im sort of wondering... I join a quiet sim, one or two people around. Wait for everything to load. Then I change my clothes/tattoo/skin, and nothing happens, or I get a blurry texture, like its still loading/rezzing. I can sit there and look at it for 10 min, still not sharp. And no bandwidth usage. But if I then remove the clothes, and equip it again, I some times get the sharp/loaded image right away, and sometimes its the same, rezzing forever with no bandwidth usage. Is there are way to stop this from happening? I know a few of my friends have the same problem, some worse than others. Its really anoying when you want to preview your own tattoos etc. (Btw, im on a pretty fast computer an 10mbit connection) Thanks, Camilla

From: Camilla Moore Is there are way to stop this from happening? I would suspect deleting Second Life would stop it.. It's just one of the annoying things that happens and LL expects us to work around or ignore. When trying on clothing, I can sometimes force an update by changing some OTHER piece of clothing (such as underwear) or going into edit appearance (Although that is even MORE annoying to me since it turns your AV and moves your camera (even with the camera options turned off)) ... I vaguely remember something about changing your active group effecting this too. It dosent actually have anything to do with the performance specs of the client computer or the bandwidth available, its simply that SL dosent seem to recognize its supposed to do an update of the avatar when clothing changes.

It's kinda annoying. It misses exactly one piece. LL did post this as a known bug so we wait for the fix.
In the meantime when I notice that some piece of my avatar clothing is not updating the most surefire way I get it updated is simply "edit appearance" then close. Going into the appearance edit mode forces everything to complete loading.
