I downloaded the newest client, and tried to install it... IT WON'T WRITE TO THE EXECUTABLE TO UPDATE! Anyone else having this issue? Just one more thing, for the game that's supposed to be my stress relief, to bring me stress! Are you sure you're stress testing the system on the 24th and not the residents?????

UHG Update Error

i load the game up, login and during connection, i get a "new version of game" report, and it tells me to DL, when i click the download button, it closes SL and i get this error. i cant even get the new exe update to download, ive tried over and over again and i get this error...

wouldnt it be easier to disable the auto updater, and point directly to webpage, so they could download it from there.
Every time theres a update theres bound to be someone asking this, i dont really see the diffrence from downloading the entire client versus the update, arent they pretty much the same size?. SL is tiiiiny client download. |

well it appears thil was right.
heres yet another sl update that the auto updater is not liking me and wont let me download it. however my problem now lies in the downloads section. it appears that you guys havent updated the download section yet to download the newer version of sl. im still getting the 1.6.8.4 version which i already have :/ so whats the new version n where do i get it? |

well does that mean im not going to beable to play until 3pm today? that would REALLY suck much.
well i didnt know i was "jumping the gun" all i know is that the website should be updated with the newer version prior to me being locked out due to a newer version. but anyways, lets hope they speed this process up, cause im dieing here...lol SL ADDICT |

You know the hour you actually can get in, youll spend 6-10 hours trying to recache everything (you isp speed doesnt matter since it will craaawl) since so many do it at same time it will take foreeever to download it again. (ctrl-shift-1 - Simulator - Pending download - will by sky high)
Update day litterally take 24 hours for it to become normalish speed on cache downloads, now to await all the "cant update cause of autoupdater" its junk im waiting for the download page to update so i can actually download 1.6.9.(?) Im gussing they will let us download the client on download page (did i mention auto updater sucks ;P) just before they finished updating.  on the side note, i did RL stuff and boy it was boring,, wish i had a undo in rl. |

 well as of yet im waiting for SL v1.6.8.(?) aswell hopefully it will be updated soon, tis really quiet here irl and i cant work on my scripting here either  P.S. i second the level of suck the auto updater has. |
