hey can anyone help me with alittle technicle problem i'm having?
whenever I start the game in runs slow as hell and this is BEFORE I even log on, it takes a few seconds just for the connect button to light up when I put my cursor over it...I have a fast computer and I use an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5950 Ultra...yet second life is slow before I even get into the game which is really strange...I bloody need help >.<

How much memory does your system have?
How much free disk space?
Is your drive defragmented?
Do you have an anti-virus running in the background?

Well, it's not really a "problem" it's just the computer starting up a new program. (right?) Normally after it loads everything up I can play and function completely fine. |

Trash your SL Cache files, logs, etc... That should help alot.
