Don't know if this is the place to post this but according to the press release for 1.9, this is suppose to be fixed:
* Avatar no longer looks at cursor when walking or flying.
My avatar still looks at the darn cursor.

Actually, I believe that means that the problem was if your avatar was not looking at the cursor. So the behavior you describe--avatar looking at cursor--sounds expected and correct.

I kind of liked it when he wasnt looking at his cursor. Now its hard to keep him still when I need to select a prim in him without having to plop down the old posing stand.
