I have a wierd errorr when i try to download the update to second life, which is making it impossible to log on.. Can anyone help me?

Basically what happens is I start to load Second Life and it pops up a little ' you must install the update to continue, download or quit. So i click download, it closes second life and opens up a small Second Life Updater box, which freezes then crashes..

attached picture is what the crash box has..

thanks in advance.

Just try downloading it manually for the website and installing it yourself. That should get rid of the automatic popup. Mine wasn't working either, although I didn't get anything like this.

I go that one and just shut my PC off and it worked the second time around.

It happens sometimes with most automatic updates. I've seen it happen at least once with any game I've play. Sometimes curtain updates will just refuse to come to your computer through an automatic updater. It's not really that much harder to download from the site anyway especially with major updates like these because they're practically the whole program itself rewritten.
