This is weird big time. Sometimes after teleporting the male form of my avatar gets turned to female shapes and a different hairdo (skintone and clothes stay as they were... Which may cause any admin who sees me to slap a warning for running topless)... What's wrong?

After a port, the shape is default until your customizations are loaded by the client. Bottom line, this happens to everyone. |

Apparently, this is called being "Ruthed", after the name of the Avatar default, Ruth.
I have found if you go into your appearance screen, and exit WITHOUT SAVING, you will return to normal.
It is vital that you DO NOT SAVE when exiting. If you do, you will be Ruthed for good, and unless you have a backup copy of your bodyshape, "you r scrued". (Can I say that in PG forum?)

I tend to change my avatar to female form, and then back to male. Works.

I got "Ruthed" twice yesterday. The first time required an hour and a half of work because I never "Saved As" previously and trying to fix it, I clicked save (not good)so I had to remove my prim hair change sex to male and basically re-work the face., adding the prim hair back and a zillion adjustments. It happened again later (was this because of the new update making everything unstable?). Logging off and coming back in fixed it. I was not a pretty woman!
