I don't know what happened, but SL isn't starting when I try to open it. I get a box asking me if I want to send a crash report, but since SL didn't crash last time I logged off, I clicked 'No'. So it started to to load Second Life, but right in the middle, it quit. It's done that every time I try to start up SL. Also, is this related to the trial account I made? Because I got an email stating that my trial account was almost over, but I activated that account right after I read the email. [EDIT] I tried downloading Second Life and re-installing it. That didn't help at all. Is there a way to configure SL without logging into the game?

You might try these steps to resolve your login difficulties: 1) Open c:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Local Settings and delete the contents of your Temp folder. 2) Open c:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Application Data\Second Life and delete the contents of the Cache folder. 3) Uninstall Second Life using the Add/Remove Programs tool in your Windows Control Panel. 4) Visit http://secondlife.com/download and download and install the latest release. If you cannot see the files or folders, go to the Tools menu, choose Options, go to the View tab, and select "Show Hidden Files and Folders".

Thank you, I've been waiting at least 2 hours for a response. I'll do what you said immediately.
