I've been using SL for a while but when I tried to log in today I got a white screen saying Access Denied contact your service provider. I contacted them & they don't know what the hell is wrong either.
Any ideas?

What's going on
07-28-2007 10:07
I have Access denied too, my provider is webmaster, but I can't get any information. What's happening, why isn't the problem recognised on the blog page if it's widespread?

I get the same screen, yet log on fine when hitting connect - my bet is the page for the startup screen is somehow glitched out on the Linden's end. Thanks Jannae, I saw the screen and started trying all sorts of other things before the obvious - hit connect anyways and you log on just fine.

Actually if I click the link on the error message it opens my browser and loads the startup page normall...just not in the client.

I feel so stupid for not trying that :-) But it works fine. Thanks for the hint.

Looks like some sort of DNS error or they may have changed something on the address and it hasn't propagated yet. I can log on normally too.

It's not that obvious as quite a lot of us couldn't log in for real, always getting an unknown error or DNS error.
