Whenever I try to log on, the loading bar gets to the "Verifying Protocol Version..." part and then hangs for a while. Then the message box pops up "Unable to connect to Second Life, the server may be down.". This wasn't a problem until the most recent update was downloaded.
I have checked my internet security settings and have made sure SL can connect through the firewall. It's allowed on both Norton and Windows. So that can't be the problem. In any case I re-started the computer and tried to log on again...no use.
The only possibility is that the servers down - which seems unlikely since I can't log onto my last location or my Home location. So...is the server down for anyone else?
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind, I got the message box that the games down for maintenance. That explains that. ^_^
