Hey.

I'm thinking of buying a new computer. And i'm interested in a Compaq Presario V6502.

Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-53
2048 MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 7150M graphic card

The real question here is: Does "NVIDIA GeForce 7150M graphic card" works in SL?

The system recommendations on SL-website

# Video/Graphics Card**:

* nVidia GeForce FX 5600, GeForce 6600, or better
* OR ATI Radeon 9600, X600, or better

It's this M in 7150M that bugs me. I would be greatful if somebody knows what it means and if somebody has tested this graphic card on a laptop.

Thank you / JoXe Voyager

The 'M' just stands for mobile, nothing to worry about :)

Not tried it personally, but from the spec of that model it will run SL, won't be the fastest experience as with a lot of notebook graphics chips, but reasonable for a notebook.

I find the ATI Xpress X1300 is one of the best performing for notebooks running sl, and not too expensive, the Nvidia Go7600 is very good but a lot more pricey.

Hope that helps :)

Ok. Thank you Johnny.
I will check the ATI Xpress X1300 and the Nvidia Go7600.

Thank you very much.
