What is it with the chat box? Each and every time you get an IM the damn thing expands across the screen. I'm tired of having to stop what I'm doing to put it back to normal.

Also in your inventory in "recent items' it's not working properly either. You open it expecting to see just items you've just picked up, instead you have practically your entire inventory on there making it hard to see items just picked up like when you go shopping and you want to make sure you got what you just paid for.

Any word on these two subjects if Linden is planning on fixing them?

Also, how can you drown out sounds from waterfalls, birds and other background sounds when you have the voice version of sl?

I tried using the sliders for UI, Ambience, sounds but it doesn't work. Anything on this that would help, please?

Thanks for any help provided

As far as the chatbox is concerned, I agree it should "sticky" to how you size, and where you place it, but it doesnt. However, as far as the "recent items" tab is concerned, I never use it. If I pick up an item named "orange box", I simply start to type the name of the item in the input box of the inventory. This filters everything else out as you go, and a few characters in, you'll see your item.

EDIT: I found a fix for your IM chat problem. Open your IM window with no IM chat's open, so you see the names, not an open chat. Resize THAT window, and then when you receive IM's the window will size to that size. Hope that helps. As far as the ambient sound issue. If these are not on your land, you can (politely!) ask the land owner to set his lot to restrict spacialize sound to his lot, then as soon as you step onto yours you won't hear it. If these things are on your lot, read instructions to see if there's a way to reduce the volume, or if you can edit the script directly, you can search it for the llPlaySound() function, and lower the volume from 1 to .1 or something like that. Hope that helps.

Hey Ricardo...if you haven't already, check your Inventory Filter settings...mine were completely different after the last update, something which has never happened before...but I was able to set them up again properly.

Now, if I can just find the 2K of items that the Lindens decided I didn't really want, I'll be happy...
