Dissapearing Avatar Attachment Prims

Best way to describe this problem is to just show images of what is going on.

I'll equip a set of prim attachments like below:

After a few minutes things will just dissapear. This sometimes is triggered by teleporting to a new location, and sometimes it will happen after I just stand in one place for a while. I can't figure out any pattern that triggers these prims to go invisible.

I should clarify what I mean by invisible... they do not turn transparent. If I ctrl-alt-T, there is no outline of the assembly. it's like the prims just got deleted.

if I unattach and reattach the objects, the prims will appear again.

This is a client perspective problem. if I ask another person what they see on me, they see the total prim assemblies. Also, prims on *other* avatars will dissapear to me in the same way.

Usually what this means is suddenly my prim hair dissapears, and I'm mostly bald from my POV, or my friends will all be bald... while they look perfectly fine from their perspective.

Thanks for any tips, in advance.

Workaround Found

I found a workaround for this...

Switch your active group around. Switch it to something else, and then switch it back.

Apparently Activating a different group triggers some kind of event to refresh all the viewable objects, or something.... either way... all the stuff that dissapears will reappear when I do this.

I first noticed this happening over 2 years ago to an alt that no longer exists. It has been happening ever since. Sometimes it get temporarily better, then it gets worse again. I suspect this bug will always be there never to go away. If it couldn't be fixed in 2 years, the prospect for a solution seen slim.
