When I attempt to teleport, I can see the loading bar, but it's incredibly slow, and finally the screen fades to gray and two options appear: continue, or quit. This has been happening for almost a week now. Strangely though, when I bypass the router, and connect my computer directly to the modem, I can tp just fine. I've tried everything: port forwarding, putting my computer on the DMZ, disabling the firewall (router and personal), I've tried reinstalling second life, run numerous spyware/virus scans and they have all come back clean. Normally when problems arise like this, I google them, and try to find a fix myself.. but googling solved nothing, only a few other people have had this problem, and their fixes didn't work for me. It's not possible for me to connect directly to the modem all of the time. Has anyone heard of this problem? ..or know of a possible fix for it?

Same here, but I cant TP no matter what I do. So I end up getting logged out, but when I log back in I'm where I wanted to be. I just considered it another "feature" of SL these days

Okay I seemed to fix it, but not intentionally.. was actually finding a fix for something else. For months I've had trouble clearing my DNS cache, but never really looked into it. Today I googled it, and here's what I did: --Start Menu > Run > and typed in 'services.msc' (without quotes) --I then scrolled down the list until I found DNS Client.. and under status, where it should say 'started' mine wasn't. --So I right clicked DNS Client and selected Properties, and in the box next to Startup Type, I clicked Automatic, then restarted my computer. If you guys haven't had a problem clearing your DNS Cache, then try this: --Start Menu > Run > type in 'cmd' (without quotes) --Type 'ipconfig/flushdns' and hit Enter. Hope this helps.

This is normal. TP, like lots of other features are only provided on randomly assigned "special" days as a gesture of LL goodwill.. Today seems to be not one of those...
