Hi new to second Life.
How can i configure my system so the game runs more fulently, it is really sluggish whatever i do even edditing my apperance. thanks in advance xx

SL eats ram, but do you know what video card you have ?, if its not supported you can run into alot of issues,
Ram use for SL hits over 500mb very easy, recommend 1024, sure it works on 512, but sluggish, it also eat bandwidth, the first time you log on caching take quite awhile depending on where you are inworld, near alot of avatars usually realllly sluggish.
Start / run / dxdiag (enter)
if you want one way to find what vid card you have.
