Yeah good job Linden.. all is ok, there is no more issues.. all is back to normal congrats!... and pls take another 2 weeks to reply to my ticket that I reopened just because I feel so lonely...tanx.

Every day since the new viewer version came out, I have: Logged in permaruthed, had no balance showing, had serious difficulties TPing to/from anywhere, been unable to properly delete objects, could not build because my home space is over prim limit due to wonky phantom prims, experienced massive lag spikes that made it nearly impossible to move around, witnessed viewer lock-up when panning my camera, and generally been massively frustrated by SL's performance.

The only time things have worked at all was when they did a region restart on my home sim--that worked for about 24 hours, until the grid went down yesterday. When it came back up... same issues as before but even moreso.

Seeing everything listed on the blog as "Resolved" just about makes me see red, at this point. I can't build, TP, build, spend money, build, look at things, or, have I mentioned, I can't build? *laugh* ...and I'm getting quite sick of poor old Ruth at this point, too.

I don't care what they do with voice, I don't care if they change the interface to day-glo orange with lavender stripes, I don't care about the lag, the attachments ending up in places I'd really rather they didn't, losing my hair, earrings, and eyelashes when I finally TP in someplace... I'm not even upset about losing money in the no-copy rez issue. I knew the risks when I paid that money out and view buying things in SL as little more than renting resources for a random and unknowable time period anyway, even when everything is working correctly.

But I'm not okay with being unable to create. That's the main draw of SL, for me, and having that crippled is insanely frustrating. Why list issues as "fixed" and claim that the system's up and working fine when it's demonstrably not? And really, couldn't they just... actually fix it before claiming that they have? >_<

Thank you. I just needed to get that off my chest. I know it's not just me (looking at the forums lately, oh boy is it not), I love SL and still try to lure friends into it, I'd just like them to be a bit more honest with their customer base. And/or... give us some offline tools for building. ;D

Strang - did you revert back to the prior version?

Tried that initially, yes--it helped with a few problems, but the inventory/delete objects/phantom prim count issues remained, so I re-upgraded and have been using the voice client ever since.

Would be willing to try again, of course. Couldn't hurt, at this point. ^^;; My landlord's been kind enough to request another restart for the region, though--I'm hoping that will fix it again.
