Nothing is working

In world I was stuck....with a few other people. We started chating and discovered none of us could teleport anywhere, another girl could not put her clothes on. I could not put my hair back on. Other people were appearing Grey, etc. I have looked around but can't find anything on the website. This has been going on for about 3 hours now. Can someone help?

Doesn't sound like fun. Have you tried the usual "clear your cache and relog?" Does it happen if you log into a different sim when you go inworld again?

Are there a lot of scripts, textures around where you are?

Maybe it is the sim that is having trouble and you need to put in a support ticket but before you do, you will have to try the above so that you can give LL some good info to help you.

Under View in the top menu there is Statistics. Check to see what your frame rate is for the sim, how many scripts are running and especially time dilation. If the time dilation is much less than 1 (under 50 and dropping can indicate a sim about to crash...but not always) it indicates a sim in trouble.

I believe I cleared my cache....I went to Edit/preferences/Network, and clicked the reset button....then I logged out and logged back in. Nothing changed.

I know it wasn't just me having the problem, and I was able to transport maybe 3 places out of 20 tries....it was just the last place I landed that I chated with other people having the same problems.

This is totally normal for SL at the weekends. I've been reporting the same thing to them for weeks now, either by the old email, or the new ticket support option.

Currently:

I can't tp.

I can't sim cross, whether walking or flying.

I can't upload textures - it tells me the server is having unexpected issues (right, since it's seen the same problem every weekend for 4 weeks...)

I can't save scripts.

Everything other than standing in the same place doing nothing either fails, or gets me logged out.

SL IS BROKEN. That's what project open letter is all about. They refuse to make even the most basic functions work correctly.

If I log on on a European weekday morning, when America is in bed and most Euros are at work, everything is fine. But if I want to do any serious work in SL at the weekend, forget it.

Im tired of bug reporting, when nothing being done about them anyway, so i wont anymore, you can thank yourself LL for not listening to your users, sure cut of all for of communcation, and rarly ever see any Linden ingame either.
