Closing Edit Causes Object To Vanish

I don't know if this is happening to anyone but me.Since this new update I have had 6-8 experiences where I am in edit, working on an object (nothing fancy,no particles or scripts running in the object)) and when I go and close edit, the object "rockets" off, I get the message on my screen "object returned to your lost and found because it went off world yada yada" (I live on an island so it doesn't have far to go....lol..). I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
