Not only is it taking forever to log in, but once in the entire grid is like molasses and TP's are getting screwed up. What's the dealio?

Not only that but when you go to Status it says Grid is Open - I think NOT. A current and accurate update would be great.

Can someone point me to where the status page is? I've looked all over the SL website ... can't find it anywhere!

Also, for two days now, forgot to add...when we finally DO get in, often avies are invisible, opposite gender, etc. And TPs just plain are often not working. (Not just a personal issue, but widespread)

OK answers to all above questions:

SL is messed up. Big time. We no longer ghost (hurrah!!!) but other significant problems equally irritating have taken its place.

What's being done about it: who knows.

When will it be fixed? Ditto.

What to do about it in the meantime: I hear there are good shows on TV, Star Wars is coming to the theatre, and some people actually have a RL. I'm checking in to those rumors myself to see if they're true.

I was never able to find it either, but after one unsuccessful login I got a pop-up thingummy saying to go to www.secondlife.com/status

Just a'type it on in, because that's the only way I found it. But yeah- "The grid is open" is so vague... open but lagtastic, maybe...
