I'm currently using a setup with a 24" widescreen monitor (two actually, but usually only one to one and a third is used for SL). The monitors are driven by an EGA Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS with 312 MB.
I'm considering getting a single, larger monitor instead, maybe 32".
Those of you using really big screens: What do you recommend for a monitor and for a video card(s) to drive it effectively?

More pixels to render - more vram required 32" lcd's are only 1366 x 768 or something awefull , far i seen ? 24~27" 1920x1200 30" 2560x1600 I would recommend more vid ram then 320 on those, look up a fps test with games on high resoultion the ones below 512 ram start to struggle. heres one exsample http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_2007.html?modelx=33&model1=778&model2=707&chart=2841920x1200 nvidia 8800 320mb - 9.5fps nvidia 8800 640mb - 33.8fps I use a 8800gts 640, 27"1920x1200 , runs nicely in most of what i play, i had a 8800gts 320mb before but diffrent screen (4:3 1600x1200) wasnt as pretty fps wise.
