I have installed the new download at least 6 times and it still keeps saying i must download it...any suggestions this happening to anyone else.

Did you do a complete uninstall first?
Maybe try the Release Candidate version

No, cousin Vlane, your inventory is not stored on your computer.
You could log into SL from anyone's computer and you'd have your same inventory, same location, etc. However, client settings like draw distance and such might be different.

Thank you cousin Lear, that has solved the problem. For anybody else having problems download the installer from the downloads section of the website, this seemed to work for me. Thanks  |
