ok,
so i've had this problem for a while now, & i still dont know what to do to get it fixed so that i can get on the game :X
i've read the article & all the jazz about it, but i still donno what to do to fix it >____<

Would help, if a little more information is supplied. If you mean you don't see the 'verifying protocol version' event during loggin, that is a very fast process and you probably won't. If it is something else, try giving a step by step process of what you are doing, and what is happening, system specs would also help.
