is there a way to make a link to a url in world. say on a note card, click the link to go to the page. if not is there anyother way to make a link in world open web site on your browser? thank you for your help.

Well I'm not sure about embedding an URL in a notecard, but you can create an object that, when touched, opens the player's default web browser to a link you specify. You can write a very simple LSL script to do this. There's an example in the llLoadURL topic on the LSL Wiki.
