Ok, pretty simple problem. Under the ADV Graphics tab under the Preferences, is the checkbox for AGP acceleration, if you have an AGP card. I'm running a Xtasy ATI 9550 AGP card, but I don't have the option to turn on the AGP acceleration. And I know the card is the one feeding the video to the monitor. Am I doing something wrong, or should I just not worry about it, since the ATI control panel says its already set the AGP Speed to 8x. And yes, I've updated both my drivers from Xtasy and ATI.

ATI cards have the AGP option disabled, due to incompatibilities with SL. Luckily, the performance boost you see in SL isn't as great as it would be in a game like Half-Life.

You can force it to be turned on, I did..
I did not notice any real speed increase, and after about 10-15 minutes I would get "warning...mixing memory.." error that really slowed things down, and had to relog to fix..
So best not to turn it on.
