My old laptop just died and I've been searching for a replacement I can run SL on. After reading all the posts about these I think I've narrowed it it down to a Dell E1705 or the Dell XPS M1210.
Before I hit that "buy now" button LOL I wanted to see if anyone knows if either one of these vid cards will For Sure run SL ?
Nvidia Geforce Go 7900 GS or the Nvidia Geforce Go 7400 TurboCache.
Thanks for any help.

i don't know the system reqs., but i got 2gb of ram and ive heard it runs better with more ram..

Thanks for any help. Both of those cards will run SL. The Go 7900 GS will run it very well indeed; it' s the next best thing to the Go 7900 GTX found in the XPS M1710, and the E1705 is a lot cheaper. THe Go 7400 won't be a great performer, but it is compatible. The "Turbo Cache" thing means that the card can augment the amount of video memory by using some of your main memory; it then uses the dedicated video memory as a cache. If you get a machine with that card, you'll have to experiment to see whether using the Turbo Cache is better or worse than just using the dedicated memoiry; I haven't yet seen any reports on it.
