Unable to teleport

Yeah, I know, this is very common, and is being reported by hundreds or thousands of others, but... I want to make sure that I add my voice too.

I have been unable to teleport *anywhere*, even once, in the last 24 hours. While I have had trouble teleporting an awful lot lately, usually I will manage if I am stubborn enough. Not since yesterday, though. I am not exaggerating. NOT ONCE!!! It is just plain hosed, borked, screwed, and t*ts up.

I have tremendous respect for Linden Labs and it's developers, and I usually encourage people to try to understand the technical issues, but I do also believe that it is important that the Linden developers face up to the fact that whether or not SL *can* scale, SL has utterly failed to scale sufficiently thus far. It does not appear obvious to me that it can do so in the future either, and along with many thousands of others I am terribly disappointed.

Try stripping down. Remove everything, and I mean everything, clothes, hair shoes, all attachemnts and HUDs and try and TP.

If that works, one by one add back attachments starting with your most critical until you can't TP again and then back off a couple of attachements.

At the rate things are going I suspect that soon we will be seeing a lot of bald, naked avies.

First of all, it doesn't work. Never has in the past, and does not now.

Secondly, I have no new attachments. I have been wearing these attachments and clothes for several months.

And finally, I am unwilling to go that far. If my SL experience is to degrade so much over time that I am forced piece by piece to give up the things that I have worked so hard to make and purchase, and which worked up until that point and no longer do, then I simply have no more interest in SL. I expect my user experience to be maintained, and even improve over time, and cannot imagine long tolerating anything else.
