I updated and all seemed to be fine. I was on earlier today and that too appeared to be fine but now when I signed on... background appears, things around me look fine but my Avatar is now just gray. I've tried changing skins, clothing, hair and nada - all gray sans my boots.
Any suggestions or advice on how to get this worked out, please?

I know it sucks, but try clearing your cache. I had the same problem earlier and that fixed it.

Check in your prefs, advanced graphic tab (I think)... Outfit Composite Limit..makes sure this is not 0, default is 5 which is fine. 0 will mean don't bother drawing any changed on avies around me.
