I pressed Character Tests under Client and my avatar turned into an unfamiliar gargoyle never to be seen again. How do I undo it please?

I don't believe any of the options under the Client menu are supposed to persist from session to session.
Logging out and logging back in should cure you. |

If you used the character test option, chances are you got reverted to one of the default avatars. Simply go into your inventory and put back on your regular skin, shape, hair, etc.
