The "Images time" bug is not on known issues list.
Maybe a better name would be "sim lag when others arrive" or memory leak?
I am still seeing time dilation drop below 0.20 and the “Images time” spike over 100mS.
As I understand it this is due to a problem with the sim image cache system.
It gets progressively worse as time goes on and more clients download images.
Reducing the number of unique images has helped, but I can’t eliminate all images.
If I could permanently buy some land in the beta grid I would set up a parcel to really cause the problem fast by using every library texture on each possible face on as many prims as I could rez. And then have scripts change the images every few minutes.
