Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

Hi,

Every time i install second life on this pc, This error screen comes up! ive uninstalled and reinstalled many many times. does anybody know how to help me??

Hi Richard,

This error is probably due to corruption of your runtime library files, possibly because of spyware or spyware removal.

Have you done a Windows Update lately? If not, then that should be the first thing to try.

If that doesn't do the trick, then maybe you should download the newest version of the VC++ runtime library here from Microsoft. There are three different downloads there (for different processors), but chances are if you're using a non 64-bit version of Windows you'll just need the last one listed.
