Hi everyone. This is what my computer tells me about my CPU when I right click on my computer and select properties. It is under the general tab.

This is what SL tells me about my CPU specs under the help tab.

Both sets of information give me the correct speed of the processor, but they say different brands. Is this because my CPU is unsupported? Also, I'm not really familiar with Open GL or what it actually is. From what I heard, it is some kind of software/hardware that is preinstalled in the video card. Is it upgradeable without a hardware change? Here is what SL tells me my Open GL is.

Pentium 4 also came in a low-end Celeron version (often referred to as Celeron 4) and a high-end Xeon version intended for SMP configurations. Nearly 6 years after the introduction of the original Pentium 4 CPUs, a dual core version, called the Pentium D, was released. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentium_4 OpenGL exsist on most vid cards along with Directx , the version you run on is limited by your hardware, software can make it higher but never higher then your vid card can do, most games use direct3d(directx) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenGL google , wiki "whateveryouwanthere" , and youll usually find the answear \o
