Hi! I'm a new resident since about a week ago and I'm experimenting problems with my graphic card. I'm using a laptop with an ATI Radeon Mobility 9600, 128MB and almost everything goes correctly except that sometimes, some types of HAIR EXPLODES throwing poligons and textures all around!!! I'm suposing that it affects mainly to custom hair performing round poligons... can I do something to fix it? thanks a lot to everybody

It might be a heating issue. Make sure your laptop hasplenty of airflow around and under it. See if that helps.

I've tried this and the conclusion is: no heating problem... even when it's damned cold and the pc just started, the custom hair and rounded poligons keep doing explosions... any ideas? T_T

When did you last update your display drivers Wintermute? Notebook suppliers are notoriously backward in coming forward with new ones and if that's the case with yours why not try the Omega Drivers? Display anomalies appeared on my own notebook (also with ATI Radeon Mobility 9600) after an update in June and those drivers resolved it.

OOh yes! thank you very very much, Walker, the Omega drivers seem to have fixed the problem ^^
