I am experiencing a very new and annoying problem with prims on HUD disappearing. Before the last update I noticed a problem when you had two prims with transparent textures overlapping, so I built my latest HUD very carefully to prevent overlapping textures. Now things are all screwed up. Let me see if I can give specifics:
1) Some prims don't show up at all in HUDs. They are not visible even when covered with a completely black texture with no transparency at all. Sometimes this seems to get fixed when you log out and log back in.
2) Scripts which are designed to change the transparency of a prim or the texture of a prim now seem to not work reliably.
I've noticed this in other situations, not just with HUD's. I was at a friends apartment last night and the floor just wouldn't render at all. I was looking straight through to the floor below, like it wasn't there. I'm pretty sure this texture did not have an alpha channel (I built the apartment building in question).
Are other people experiencing this too?
