My edit appearance menu doesn't work the way it's supposed to anymore. I can work the sliders but the pictures of the avatar you see are not what the setting looks like at 0 and 100 anymore, both are just the way I am now. Anyone know a solution to this problem?

Not sure but make sure your ao is turned off if u have one.. Have you changed any settings in your client? I have changed settings, and had things stop working.. I had to change them back in order to get the desired effect.. Not sure if that is any help at all lol.. _____________________

Also make sure your shape is modifiable. If it is one you bought, it may not be.

I am having similar prolems using the sliders to create clothing. For example, trying to edit a new skirt I can make it tight or loose and change bustle, but not change length. The slider moves, but nothing happens. I have detached my ao, but still no luck.

My shape is mod and I can work the sliders, it's just that the pics I see are all from my current shape instead of pics from sliders set to 0/100. I've even deinstalled SL, deleted all files so that all settings would be default, but still the pics in edit appearance are not the way they're supposed to be.

To Evie: Your skirt probably has alpha textures on it. If you try to grow it longer, there is no more texture data to draw anything.

I can tell you this is pretty inconvenient for someone that makes custom shapes... |

mine does this a lot when i checked.... yes the sliders actually work, but the little preview pictures no longer show the correct previews. I myself know what all the sliders do by their name, and can test and use "revert" so i don't really care about the preview pictures, but i can see how it would be annoying.

In create new clothing, sliders do not change skirt length or anything on other clothing items either on the preview pics OR my avatar. Sliders don't work in either direction - e.g. shortening or lengthening skirt. This problem persists whether or not texture has been applied. Any possible solutions gratefully received.
