I've only been playing this game for about a week now, and I seem to be having a problem. This morning when I woke up, I come in to find that my C drive is low on space. How low? Well, it was down to a couple hundred kilobytes. Now, I know that just the other day, it was something like 2.5 GB. This morning I was able to get it up almost 900 MB, but, that still isn't good. I did a search on files created/modified/accessed since this morning and I found 3 files in the Second Life cache that are about 500 MB each. What are these file? Where did they come from? The file names are data.db2.x.30572, data.db2.x.15120 and data.db2.x.1726. Also, why did the game set up a folder there, when I moved my Documents and Settings folder to the D drive. Can I delete these files? Is there any way of moving this entire SecondLife folder to another drive? If the game is going to keep putting files that size on my C drive, then, I'm going to have to cancel my account because the game is just not going to have enough space for it to keep dumping files onto my harddrive of that size.

Odd, there should be two 500MB files max with the current settings. Yes you can delete them, but the usual way is to click the Clear Cache button under Edit > Preferences > Network Tab. You may want to reduce the Disk Cache Size to 500MB or less.

I did do that last night, hoping that I might have found a way to re-route those things to another drive, but, did not see a way. And the cache size is 500MB. And there were 3 files total. Thank you for the info.
