no more pics

when partying, or at tringo, or whatever I used to like looking at all the pictures other players would put on their profile picks: places to go like a haunted house, or an Island, there fav shop, or just picks of them with friends. This was not only very interesting but a good way of starting IM. I used to get a lot of IM asking about my picks I'd put up of best places in SL but now nothing. It takes at best minutes for one picture to load, and then it's all fussy. Really spoilt the social side of this game for me, which is what sl is all about. anyone know why this has happened and is there someway of improving it?

short answear, wait till weekend ends , SL cant handle so many people as there are on weekends, Asset server croaks, loading is slow so slooww.
