NVidia 8400m GT graphics memory problem???

Hi all,
first of all I want to thank you all for taking your time to read this,
second I want to let you know that this problem doesn't really have to do with SL,
third the 'problem':

I got a Sony Vaio FZ21E with 2GB ddr6400 and a 8400m gt. When I look in NVidias configuration panel it sais it can reach 8xx mb. Now when I scan (whatever) game on canirunit.com it shows that I only have 53mb of ram. First I thought that it could be the website but then I remembered that I scanned there before and it didn't show 53mb then. So now I'm really wonderin what's wrong, what I did wrong or whatever this could be and how it can be fixed.

I really hope someone can help me with this since I'm a game addict +_+ ( + SL addict )

Video RAM: Required - 64 MB , You have - 53.0 MB

click start / run / dxdiag

check "display" on that, if its 64mb , you might need to set higher memory ram use on the vid cards, betting its one of those integrated ones that borrow ram from your system.

Look in bios probably where it is.

Well at least it shows the next:

Total memory: 816MB

I have not been able to reach the BIOS on this laptop. It's like a maze... I tried DEL / F2/F10/F11/F12 but I couldn't reach the BIOS. When I start my laptop up it shows up some graphical screen. When I hit ESC there I don't get any info on how to reach the BIOS either.
