can't login

I cannot login keeps saying version manager does anyone know how to correct this or is sl totally down

server hiccups i suppose. should be ok after a short wait normally.

Yep, same here. I have re-installed SL twice so far. It fixes it until you have to log off again... or you crash.

Also in First Look, same problem.

I'm with TPG in Australia and I just get this message:
"Cannot connect Version Manager".


It's midnight monday and still no connection....

Same problem here on a Mac using release candidate and another mac running normal client.

Getting the same problem here in the UK.

I get it too. I was okay, yesterday. Went out this morning. Came back now and tried to log in, and it complains about this version manager thing.

I use the Linux clients and it happens on bot the regular alpha and the release candidate.

i cant log in either been tryin off and on for hours sent in a ticket to see if they notice

This issue has been happening to me to the last week or so, some days I log in fine other days I spend 20 30 minutes unable to get in, One suggestion i saw that sometimes works is to log into a region instead of your home or last location.
This issue is something new for me, been using SL for about 8 months now and only encountered this problem this week.

Yeah, ditto. I had this crop up yesterday as I tried to log in to My Last Location. Changed my point to My Home and got in straight away.

Still, doesn't excuse the fact that its happening at all. Add it to the list, LL.

Cmon SL, tell us what the deal is with this, couldnt TP last night. Has anyone had like 1 week without major problems? I can't remember, it has been so long.

This is damn annoying now. I guess it doesn't matter since there are about 39 000 people on the grid. Who cares about a few people affected by a problem.. The system works for the most part. Which means we can go and have more coffee.

We have already seen the "if it mostly works, it is okay" philosophy that drives the grid.
I've tried just about every region I can remember to no avail.

Persistence! I finally logged in about 5 mins ago after dozens of attempts - decided to TP to another region and got logged out. Now - guess what; I've got the version manager message again. Gah!

Keep getting logged out when i try to TP all the time now - anyone else getting this? SL seems to be more flaky than a dandruff convention lately...

Got the same problem too.. ARGH!!!!
