It's hard to describe but a few weeks ago all of the sudden all my clothes just started looking strange. Notice the edge wher the sleave should stop now showes an extention of skin! Look at the white extended skirt, this should not be seen Pants have the same "skin extention" as my sleaves My eye lashes have a simmiler extra skin look. This has been going on so long it makes me want to cry, no matter what I do I look horrable. Rebaking textures, changin skins, or going into edit apperence fixes everything for a minute then it all pops back to crap.

I would start with toggling the setting of the avatar vertex checkbox, and changing the avatar rendering setting, the one with normal, bump mapped, and bump mapped & cloth, and updating video drivers if they need it.

From: SuezanneC Baskerville I would start with toggling the setting of the avatar vertex checkbox, and changing the avatar rendering setting, the one with normal, bump mapped, and bump mapped & cloth, and updating video drivers if they need it. Oh yeah, I have tried all that already. It does the same thing in the Linux client with a completely different set of drivers and the avatar vertex is not currently working in the Linux client. I forgot to add that other people in Sl see the strange things on my body too, not just me. IM me in game sometime and I will show you.

What happens if you put on a stock avatar from your library and adjust it to match or somewhat match your normal body?
Maybe you could try giving a copy of your shape to someone and have them give it back to you.

This is a spreading bug. None of the suggested techniques work. It does get worse. We, those who have it, are waiting for the fix. Sorry, Threshin

Just thought I would chime in here as I am having this problem too.
It has got to be something server side as I have installed SL on another machine that is has never been installed on and the bug is still there as soon as I log in.
