By a dreadful irony, I chose to subscribe at the same time as the new release... and it's all gone horribly wrong for me. The client runs for about 5 minutes and then I get break-up on various parts of the screen (random geometry, triangles all over the shooting match, etc.) which terminates a couple of minutes after that with a complete system failure: blank screen, hard restart of computer required. If I didn't know better, it has over-run vertex buffer/mis-matched index buffer written all over it

This is on a PC with a card supporting VS/PS 2.0s running fully patched XP SP2.
The previous version had run OK for a good length of time and other than awful performance, it ran OK on my Mac.
Is there anything known, or is this one of "those things" that is affecting me and no-one else?
