Land was sold, but money never showed

Okay, I sold a group owned plot in Chief Sunday morning, but never received the money. I own all the AVs in the group, so I know the money never appeared. I tried Live Help Sunday night and they said it takes 24 hours for the money to show. Why? Who knows, that's just the way SL works (just another SL quirk). Okay, so last night (Monday) still no money, after more than 24 hours. Now I am into Tuesday, now more than 48 hours and no money. How much longer do I need to wait? Maybe a week? A month? :)

24 hours should have been enough. Time to bug a Linden.

Sargus - definately call the office - preferably today before 5PM Pacific time. The contact numbers are on the secondlife.com page, under support.

When you sell land - the "group" gets paid. Additionally, while the group owns the land, it receives daily dwell payments.

Each day, those group monies are tallied up, and split proportionally amongst the group members. This is why it takes 24 hours to be 'paid'. The group is paid immediately, but the individuals get their 'dividend' once a day.

Because its been well over 24 hours, it's definately time to stop waiting, and call the office :)

Yeah, I meant to call last night but got tied up with other things. The post was more a small jab at Linden Labs for the fact one needs to babysit their land sales to make sure they get paid money due, and to let other people know to keep an eye on their sales or they may never realize they have not been paid. Thanks for the response. :)

As a reminder to others: If you leave the group before that 24 hours is up, you won't get paid. ;^)
