Its really weird. I used SL on Linux on my system and it wouldn't work on windows. Says Video card does not meet the requirement? is it some kind of glitch or maybe the old version would work?

What video card or processor does it have?
What version of Windows? What video driver version are you using? Did you upgrade it? _____________________

ATI Radeon X1400 Windows Vista i don't know about upgrading driver. but it worked with this version on linux. driver version 7.14.10.830 |

What version video driver does it show in Vista?
Are you new to using Vista? Do you know how to find out what version your video driver is? You might try turning Aeroglass off. Is English a second language? _____________________

i don't know about upgrading driver. but it worked with this version on linux. driver version 7.14.10.830 My interpretation of the above is that that is the version number that it worked with in Linux. That's a pretty old video driver. You can download an updated version from Dell.com.
