An interesting thing if I log off sl or crash out of sl, which still regularly happens, it seams that I'm still receiving packets from sl as if I've not logged off!
Anyone, including the Lindens, have an idea what is happening?

well, if you crash it's still gonna be streaming data to you until your character times out and it figures out finally that you're not there. does this continue for long after you log/crash out?

It lasts until I physically disconnect my broadband connection.

Dont know if this has anything to do with the same issue. I can log in look at my friends list it will show people as not on line. So i call my friend she lives just cross town to ask if she come in for a few. She tells me she is on line has been for a long time. So i try to im her soon as i bring up the im it tells me that she is not on line but i typ hello and send she comes on line.Allso if i log out or her on our list sl saying we ar on line. How we know this is i log out call her on the phone she tells me sl saying iam on lol. Same goes with her When we tell live help about this we ar told nothing is wrong with sl just relog. OK reloging does fix the issue for that time but still isent it a bug ?

I normally see this (the continued comms) when I crash or get router lock. Normally it stops for me after about a minuite or two though.

It's a problem with SL. Sometimes it crashes on closing. I would Exit my client and try to log back in only to find the "Account is still logged in or logging out" dialog.

What worries me now is that Second Life just closes instantly on quiting!
It does not take time like it used to!
