Try uninstalling and reinstalling SL. (Download it from the website again, after you uninstalled.)

Then file a bug report saying what happened.

HDD (Hard Disk Drive) Full? Did run you Scandisk (properties of C drive, Tools, Check Now)...

Does not look like an SL errror, looks like a HDD error, so make sure not full, and check for errors...

Hope that helps..

Are you running SL in the background when you reinstall?

If not, hit ctrl-alt-delete and go into the "processes" folder and remove "secondlife.exe".

Then uninstall/reinstall.

AFTER uninstalling and rebooting, but BEFORE reinstalling, use Windows Explorer to navigate to /Program Files, and see if there is a Second Life folder. If you have a /Program Files/Second Life directory, delete the directory and contents before reinstalling. (CAREFULLY! Don't accidently delete the entire Program Files directory, or some other directory, make sure you are deleting only the leftover Second Life directory! And don't delete this directory without "uninstalling" first.) If you can't delete the directory or contents, then you need to investigate that before trying to reinstall.

In other words, after you uninstall, make sure you have actually removed all traces of the program before the reinstall.
