My hubby just made an account so I was gonna go meet him in game and I froze up when rezzin the Welcome area. I logged out but when I tried to log back in all I get stuck at verifying protocal version and it kicks out and says the system may be down when I know it isnt because my hubby is playing as im writing this. Any clues as to what I can do?

Hunt around the forums for the how-to on setting your client port.
Basically you have to add -port 1300x to the SL shortcut on each of your clients. Where x is a unique number between 0 and something or other...
